In this month’s newsletter Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County is happy to introduce you to the candidates running for Pitt County Board of Education. As a non profit 501(c)(3) organization, Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County remains nonpartisan in all elections. We do not endorse any political candidate, but we try to make sure you have access to information about Board of Education candidates. We hope learning about the candidates will help you make your voting decisions.

In addition to learning about candidates in our monthly newsletter, we invite you to attend the Board of Education Candidate Forum on October 20th at 6:30pm at Pitt Community College Goess Student Center. Sponsored by KDL Construction, this forum will allow candidates to introduce themselves and share their thoughts about how they plan to support public education if elected to the Board of Education. Register here.

For both this newsletter and the candidate forum, each candidate was sent two emails and one letter of invitation through the US Postal Service. Listed below, you will find the name (in alphabetical order) and district of each candidate running for Board of Education. You’ll also find an autobiographical statement and picture from each candidate who submitted this information. To determine your voting district for all elected seats, please visit this link.
