Join Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County TONIGHT, October 19 at 6:30 pm! We will gather at the Walter and Marie Williams Building at Pitt Community College where we will hear from college admissions counselors and scholarship reviewers about writing the most effective essay for a scholarship or college application.
Students are encouraged to attend with their parents and bring an essay with them, as volunteers will also be available to talk through them with students and help them craft a winning essay. The program falls at just the right time as this week is free college application week. Families can visit the College Foundation NC website here to learn more about which colleges are waiving application fees this week. We look forward to seeing many families this evening as we work together to create bright futures for students in Pitt County Schools!
