We are grateful for the time and talent brought to us every year by talented interns from East Carolina University. This year, we are excited to introduce Breanna Culler and Antonio Lajcin.
Breanna is pursuing a Master of Social Work at ECU, having recently graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work, also from ECU. She is a Pitt County native who attended Northwest Elementary, Bethel Middle School, and North Pitt High School. She is excited to spend this year engaged with her community and our public education system, along with learning more about nonprofit management. When asked to share a fun fact about herself, Breanna says, “I love to spend time with my cat, Marco, and I always have a yo-yo in my possession.” We look forward to spending this school year learning with Breanna.
Antonio is a senior at ECU, majoring in Communications and planning to attend the graduate school program ECU offers for communications majors. He is excited to intern with PPS-PC as a great opportunity to learn about social media and hone his communication skills, while also engaging more with the local Greenville community. When asked to share a fun fact, we discovered that Antonio lived in Columbia, South America for 7 months! Antonio is committed to helping us grow our social media and communications this year, so we can better serve our public school system.
