Juan Garcia began partnering with Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County in 2014 as a member of our inaugural Parent Engagement Program class. You may recognize him as someone who has hosted a PPS-PC table at various community and school events, and today he serves as Treasurer on our Board of Directors.
Juan is also the owner of Gar-Del Building Solutions. Juan’s work is well respected across Eastern North Carolina. Jill Camnitz hired him recently and says, “his work was excellent and he was a pleasure to work with! I heartily recommend him!”
Juan has recently created another way to support PPS—through his business. If you have a residential construction need (bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, cabinets, etc.), and you mention PPS-PC when hiring Juan for the job, he will donate a portion of the proceeds from the work to Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County.
