This month J.H. Rose High School hosted an inspiring school tour for the Greenville-Pitt Association of Realtors, Inc. Eastern Elementary School gave an equally eye-opening tour for the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals. As one participant later noted, “I was blown away! There are a lot of great people doing great things in our public schools! ”
We appreciate the local businesses who supported the tours by providing breakfast and lunch to the two professional groups. Harris Teeter and Buzz Coffee provided tasty treats that were the perfect way to end each tour as the participants heard an information session about how Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County and Pitt County Schools work together to enhance public education here in Pitt County.
