Yes, we realize you are receiving this newsletter in December, and it seems WAY too early to think about Kindergarten, which begins in August! But it is NOT too early! More information is coming about our Kindergarten 101 program in January, but we encourage you to start thinking about this exciting time and gathering your questions.

Go ahead and put Wednesday, January 26 from 9:30am-11am on your calendar to attend an informational workshop where all of your kindergarten questions will be answered! We’ll gather that morning in the fellowship hall of St. James United Methodist Church. Additionally, we plan to hold the same workshop one evening that week, and will update you in January with the time and location.

This workshop will highlight information from Pitt County Schools superintendent, director of K-5 programs, student assignments, a local pediatrician, and more. This is the place to learn all you need to know about the very exciting process of enrolling your kindergarten child in Pitt County Schools, and what you can do to prepare your child before August. We look forward to seeing you there and want to thank our event sponsors, Patrick Reid and Erin Greenleaf with RE/MAX Preferred Realty for their support!
