We all know about Black Friday, Shop Local Saturday, and Cyber Monday. But do you know about Giving Tuesday? This is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, a day when nonprofits around the globe commit to a day of fundraising for their cause.
Last year, you helped Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County reach our goal of raising $7,500 in ONE DAY! We need your help again this year. On December 1, 2020, we will raise $5,000 to be used towards programs sponsored by PPS-PC. We have an additional challenge this year. The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation has committed to giving us an additional $5,000 in grant money for every NEW DOLLAR we raise.
If you gave last year, please consider increasing your gift, by even a small amount, this year. If you’ve never given before, consider giving for the first time. Have a Facebook account? Consider hosting a FB fundraiser, with PPS-PC as your recipient! Giving Tuesday will be a full day of fun on social media, celebrating partnerships between parents and public education in our community.
