PPS-PC 2024 Interns

PPS-PC is excited to welcome three new interns who will be working with the organization this school year. Interns from the School of Social Work and the School of Communication at East Carolina University are an asset to the organization each year contributing in many different ways by helping to fulfill the mission to secure a high quality education for each child.

ECU School of Social Work Intern – Bobbie Mills

Bobbie Mills is the Fall 2024 intern for PPS-PC. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in social work at East Carolina University and is on pace to graduate in May 2026.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She is excited about her internship, and anticipating the valuable perspectives she will gain from community members and the insights she will learn about Pitt County schools through various tours and events this semester.

Bobbie hopes to work as a school social worker in her hometown of Greenville, NC. Upon graduation she looks forward to applying the skills and ideas she receives from her internship to her future career as a school social worker.

Communication Intern – Erin Adcock
