PPS-PC collaborates with Pitt County Schools (PCS) to offer free school tours throughout the school year. During the fall PPS-PC hosts the Community Leader School Tour Series in which community leaders are invited to tour a PCS Elementary, Middle, and High School. Throughout the year PPS-PC coordinates free school tours for individuals and families who are moving to Pitt County, are considering a transition in schools, moving to a new area in Pitt County, or just wanting a fresh look at what’s going on in our schools in 2023. All welcome!
Each spring PPS-PC coordinates the Spring School Tour Series, offering a school tour at 34 Pitt County Schools and, new to the tour series this year, Pitt Community College. The 2023 School Tour Series is slated to begin on February 8th and conclude on March 9th. This year the school tour series is sponsored by Children’s Health Services, Haystack Realty, and Pitt Community College. Many thanks to each of these sponsors for helping make the school tour series possible.
