Spotlight On: Robin Dailey, Professional Educator, former PEP Coordinator, current Student Success Academy Coordinator

Robin Dailey is one of Eastern North Carolina’s leading educational professionals, having devoted her career to every aspect of public education: teacher, principal, administrator, facilitator and program coordinator. Robin played a pivotal role at PPS as Coordinator of our Parent Engagement Program (PEP) for 4 years, training parents and community members as education advocates and helping launch important education projects in Pitt County.Robin says that she has “loved working with Parents for Public Schools of Pitt County over the past four years and truly believe we’ve provided customized training for our parents with authentic engagement. Through this process, we’ve improved and strengthened our local schools and community!”

We want to express our deepest thanks and best wishes to Robin as she leaves her role as PEP coordinator to expand her role with the Student Success Academy, a partnership between Pitt County Schools and the United Way that helps area middle school students build academic skills. The Academy just won an expanded $1.27 million federal grant from the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program over the next four years.
