When the school year ends, thousands of Pitt County children lose daily access to free breakfast and lunch—meals they rely on throughout the year. The Summer Feeding Program bridges that gap by offering two accessible, no‑cost meal options for children ages 1–18. These programs meet a critical need in our community, ensuring students remain nourished, healthy, and ready to learn when school resumes.

Below are the two ways families can access meals this summer, along with opportunities for community partners to get involved.

Option 1: Weekly 7‑Day Meal Kits (Shelf‑Stable)

Pitt County Schools Nutrition Services will provide free 7‑day meal kits from June 16–August 6 (**excluding July 2).

Pickup Location: Holly Hill OFWB Church, 755 Porter Rd., Greenville, NC 27834

Pickup Times (Thursdays):

  • 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM–6:00 PM

Families must register to receive meal kits.
