When school lets out, millions of low-income children across North Carolina lose access to the school breakfasts and lunches provided during the regular school year. Thankfully Summer Nutrition Programs help fill this gap by providing free meals during the summer months. In Pitt County PCS School Nutrition Services will be providing free summer meals again this summer for children ages 18 & under at various sites around the county.
Free Summer Meals –
Important Information about summer meals –
**Sites will be open June 16 – August 7
**Meals are served Monday – Thursday ONLY
**Meals must be eaten on site. All trays must be disposed of in the trash before leaving the site.
** Breakfast – 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Lunch – 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM
**Dates of operation subject to change based on meal participation and times may vary by location

Ayden Elementary, Eastern Elementary, HB Sugg Elementary, Lakeforest Elementary, Pactolus Global School, Sadie Saulter, South Central High School, South Greenville Elementary, Wintergreen Intermediate, and Wellcome Middle

Pitt County School Nutrition will be offering 7 day meal kits for pickup beginning June 17 until August 7 at the following sites –
Tuesday Pickup: Bethel Youth Center 7458 Mainstreet Bethel, NC 27812
Thursday Pickup: Holly Hill OFWB Church 755 Porter Rd. Greenville, NC 27834
*Children can get a 7 day meal kit OR participate in the daily free summer meals but not both*
