Pitt County Schools Graduation Schedule –
Congratulations to the 2025 Pitt County Schools Graduates! Dual Enrollment students who received Associates Degrees participated in the Pitt Community College Graduation earlier in May. PCC Early College High School and Innovation Early College High School Graduates participated in their graduation ceremonies on May 22nd. Pitt Academy Graduates and Graduates from the other six high schools have graduation ceremonies June 4th – June 7th.
Over 100 seniors were recognized recently for their accomplishments while participating in the Health Science Academy. During the 2024-25 school year those students completed 26,353 volunteer hours and accumulated nearly $3.5 million in scholarship offers.
State Education Funding Webinar Follow Up –
On May 1st PPS-PC, in partnership with the PPS National Office, hosted a webinar on State Education Funding. Did you know that nearly two-thirds of the funding for our local public schools comes from the state?! The General Assembly is working on our state’s budget right now. How can parents and community members get involved? Contact your local representatives! Send them an email or call their office to let them know what you would like to see in the budget.
